Gamification to Promote Student Engagement in Health Professions Education

During his medical education, he completed general surgery and obstetrics and gynaecology internships at Università degli Studi di Bologna as an Erasmus scholarship holder and a bioinformatics course at Amsterdam Maastricht Summer University, Netherlands. He is working at Koç University School of Medicine as the coordinator for the fourth-year surgery clerkship and the coordinator for general surgery residency. He is currently pursuing an IFI fellowship at the FAIMER Institute, Philadelphia. Emre is passionate about applying principles of gamification to learning.
